This phrase is already a classic. You’ve probably heard it a couple of times. Why would a narcissist say this to you? Well, this is simple. They will never want to admit that anything is their fault. 

These people don’t take responsibility for their behavior, and in order to make themselves look innocent, they will make you feel like your thoughts and feelings don’t matter. 

They tell you that you are always exaggerating because they do everything right and you’re never pleased. 

“I’ve done so many things for you, and this is how you repay me?”

According to experts, this is the most common phrase narcissists use when they are arguing with you. So, what is its meaning?

These guys will keep track of every little thing they think they did for you and expect you to pay them back. This can range from them doing the laundry or taking the kids to school to that time when they bought you that beautiful shirt you didn’t even ask for.

When they are trying to manipulate you, they will act like they are the kindest human on this planet, and you somehow don’t see this.
