7. Blackmail 

I’m not sure what your thoughts are on this, but when a partner blackmails the other one just so they can get something out of it, that’s a good enough reason for a breakup.

Maybe you’ve told them something that you probably don’t say to other people, something that’s extremely personal or a secret, but now that they know, they’ll use that against you to compel you to do something you don’t want.

Let’s take an example so we can understand the situation better: you’ve told them that you lied to your sibling about something, and now they keep saying, “if you don’t do this, your sibling is going to find out that you lied…”.

I’m sure that you think the same thing as I do: that’s not normal, especially in a relationship where people should support and respect one another, not blackmail them in order to receive different things.
