You look tired!
Look, I get it. I know that this could come from a good place, where you’re genuinely concerned for the other person.
Unfortunately, the nights we lose, the meals we skip, or the overeating we do will show on our bodies.
After all, if I couldn’t get any sleep for a whole week, I wouldn’t look as if I’d just returned from the spa! While you might want to point out to me that I need to get some sleep (and if I didn’t get it, trust me, it’s not because I didn’t want to) or to eat less, the way it could be perceived on the other end might differ.
In other words, you might come with good intentions, but you might hurt others’ feelings.
