6. Being kind without expecting reciprocity

If you want to reach a great level of spirituality, helping others without asking for anything in return is probably the best way to do it. Do you remember that time when our parents bought us gifts and they were happy by simply seeing us smile?

This is something we can do in our day-to-day lives: help someone cross the street, buy a homeless person something to eat, buy your spouse a gift without a reason, or help out a colleague at your workplace. These are only small things, but for someone who needs them, they will mean a lot!
