Do you think there’s a pathological liar in your life?

Some people say that it might be better to lie to someone you love instead of hurting them and causing them a lot of pain by telling the truth. That might be true in some cases, but when it comes to always lying and hiding the truth, things change. DRASTICALLY.

When I was in my 20s, I dated a guy who kept lying to me and made me feel bad and insecure all the time. He was always defensive and used to change narratives so that he seemed like the good and innocent one.

He also kept adding more and more details, which were all false, just so he seemed decent and sincere. He did that a lot, especially when we were out and in the company of other people.
