Your friends and family love you, and they only want what’s best for you, right? So if you would tell them that your partner made you feel incredibly sad and that there’s a problem between you two, they might be concerned.

So you simply tell them what’s going on in your life and share things about your relationship with them, but you leave out key details that will show them how things really are.
