4. Taking pictures 

It’s never a good sign when a complete stranger decides to take photos of your neighborhood and of your home.

As smartphones have become a must-have item for the majority of us, photographing everyday life has never been simpler. One minute, and you’ll have as many pictures as you want.

Intruders will photograph your home to show it to their crew and make a plan for breaking in, or they might use it as a reference for when they break in again.

It’s a red flag and reason for alarm if you see someone doing it, especially if they’re snapping photographs from unusual vantage points or of suspicious-looking locations nearby.
