Superstitions: 11 Things You Should NEVER Buy on Saturdays

2. Broom

Although the broom is a sign of wealth and positive vibes, it’s advised not to buy it on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Why? Instead, good vibes and good luck will devastate your financial stability and make you poorer than usual.

Broom purchases on Saturdays are also said to enrage Goddess Laxmi, the Goddess of Wealth, and result in your financial ruin. Therefore, it’s advisable to refrain from sweeping your home on Saturday.

3. Scissors

Another thing that I know from my grandma is that buying or using scissors was forbidden on Saturday because it might lead to fights. She also advised us not to use them if we weren’t cutting anything, but because we were brats who never listened to our parents, we did. And then we had a huge argument with our father regarding some bad grades from school.

However, if you want to keep a good relationship between you and your friends and family, just keep the scissors away from you on Saturday because gardening or crafting can wait until Monday.
