#2 They Are Curious and Want to Know Everything About Everybody

Do you know the type of person I’m referring to? That person who is incredibly curious about everyone. Those who won’t stop asking questions, offering “advice,” or even recalling instances in which they acted similarly to you but managed to avoid the catastrophe that happened to you.

They want to know everything that happens in your life. From where you went to high school or your health and finances to your love life. Why, though? Knowing such intimate details of another person’s life carries a certain kind of power. Since you two are buddies, they obviously can’t tell anyone about it, but maybe they can. It’s possible that they’re eager to use it against you.

They can also simply be curious about everyone in their immediate vicinity. Although it’s possible, it’s not always because they want to use your knowledge against you but rather because having more knowledge gives you an advantage in some circumstances.
