#5 Give up on social media!

Yes, we will continue the broken record that everyone has been echoing in the past few years. But, while the digital world and apps have been a great help during the pandemic and in general at helping us keep in contact with loved ones while hundreds of miles apart, a lot of us spend too much time looking at our screens!

Studies have shown that an average person spends at least an hour and 40 minutes on social media, be it Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or others! This habit should be broken immediately, however, as research has discovered that it puts you at risk of developing depression and induces stress and mental clutter.

Do what’s best for your mental and physical health, and start a social media detox! You can replace some of the time spent on your devices by applying habit no.2 on our list instead!
