3. Retirement
Retirement is part of everybody’s life sooner or later, but the topic of the golden years is different from one generation to another.
Some baby boomers are approaching or have already entered retirement, while there are particular millennials who are only at the beginning of their careers.
When it comes to social situations and politics, we, the baby boomers, tend to be a bit more conservative than your children, who want to be successful in their careers and who don’t mind retiring later than us.
Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but given the fact that we grew up when the country’s economy was rather stable and we had jobs that we kept for years and years, we have the tendency to play it safe rather than being open to taking risks.
Speaking of retirement and finances, our younger counterparts don’t mind switching jobs if that’s what makes them happy, and they don’t think too much about their golden years.
