4. They don’t have a problem with getting caught
We already talked about being caught on the previous page, but from my experience, I can say that I noticed a type of behavior when it comes to pathological liars.
The boyfriend I told you I had when I was in my 20s was what you could call a pathological liar. And trust me, it was a very weird relationship that lasted only a couple of months because I kept trying to wait and convince him to let go of this behavior, but it was all in vain.
However, a couple of times I confronted him with the truth, and he kept telling me that I was wrong and things happened the way he told me.
I let that fight go because I knew what was false and what wasn’t, and from that moment on, he didn’t have any fear that I might catch him with a lie because he always had a story prepared for that case.
As weird as it sounds, it’s actually true: pathological liars don’t fear that you might catch them with a lie because they’ll say another one to cover it up.
