10. Monitor Your Progress
You’ve created your own work-life balance! Good job; you’re awesome. It’s completely fine if you’re not perfect at sticking with it; we all make mistakes. What matters is not giving up and aiming to make progress. Oh, and when you make some, congratulate yourself.
Monitoring your progress every few months is important because you can identify what’s working and adjust what’s not. This way, you’ll be able to improve your work-life balance. Perhaps a boundary that you recently set has been challenging to stick with, and you would like to adjust it. You may need a journal to write down your accomplishments; here‘s one we’d recommend.
There wouldn’t be any progress if you weren’t to make mistakes, so take your time in finding the work-life balance that works for you.
