Goal Setting

A goal-setting exercise can help you capture aspects of your life that you currently feel wrong about and assign goals to fix them or reduce their impact on you.

You can begin by considering eight areas of your life and whether or not they have negative aspects. Some examples can include:

  • Family and Friends
  • Material
  • Health
  • Leisure

After honestly thinking about each area, grab a piece of paper and a pen. Now draw a left and right-hand column. Try to write down any negative aspects in the left-hand column.

Then, in the right-hand column, you can create a concrete goal describing something you can change about each one.
