#7 Backyard camping
Backyard camping is the ideal activity if you have a backyard, and your grandkids enjoy being outside. If you don’t already have one, you can build your own tent with a few sticks, some canvas, and some power tools. Also, you may always ask your own children for assistance in building this.
There is always the option of buying a little tent if you don’t want to create your own. You don’t need anything too rough because you’re close to your home. As a fun thing to do before the actual “camping,” you may even pitch the tent with your grandchildren.
Best of all, you can always go inside if the tent breaks or the weather changes. Since you are close to home, this activity does not put you or your youngsters in danger.
