#8 Go Geocaching
Are you familiar with geocaching? It’s a treasure hunt for grownups, but it’s also entertaining for the grandchildren! To find a “cache” that another user has left, you need only set out with a GPS in hand.
Typically, the cache will contain a few trinkets that you can take but must exchange for a tiny gift of your own. You can also leave a message.
These mini-treasures are usually not placed totally randomly. They often help you to find some of the least known and most interesting places in your town. You can find them beside murals, statues, or even cultural buildings.
All you need for this adventure is a phone with GPS! So, we can say it is an inexpensive and fun activity to have with your grandkids.
