#5 Start going on walks
If the pandemic has taught us anything, it is how much a small thing like a walk in nature can do for our well-being. Not only will you be able to get in some sort of exercise daily, but you will also be adding a morning routine component that will boost your mental health!
It’s nothing that hard to do, as you don’t have to do a 2-hour walk in order to get the benefits of this step. Going on a walk outside means that you can take everything at your own pace, as fast or as slow as you want, for as long as you want. Even a 20-minute walk will be beneficial for your mood and body!
Walks help with bone health, give your body some daily activity, and help you get natural vitamin D from being exposed to nature! What’s more, you will feel the healthy effects of the released melatonin, as it will also improve your sleep at night and give you a mood boost!
Make sure that you are present during the activity. Enjoy the time, take in the landscape, listen to some music, and don’t let your mind stray from stressful thoughts! This way, you will get the best positive vibes from this activity!
