4. They gaslight you
One or both of your partner’s gaslighting tactics include telling you how YOU feel or dismissing your emotions when you express them.
For instance, if you tell them that they didn’t make you feel good when they did something, they won’t ask you what happened and won’t make any effort to assure you that something like that won’t happen again.
Instead, they’ll tell you that there’s no need to be so sensitive, and then they’ll close the subject so that you can’t say anything more. This is definitely an indicator that things between you two don’t work well, and you both need a change.
