1. Stress
When we are stressed, the quality of our sleep suffers significantly. Since we are prone to wake up more during the night, we don’t enter that REM stage, or we reduce the REM sleep. So, as you can see, less sleep equals fewer dreams. This is kind of self-explanatory.
2. Diet
As we already know, our diet is a very important factor, and it influences our lives in more than one aspect. Diet has an impact on our bodies all the time, whether we are sleeping or awake.
Having an inappropriate diet reduces the quality of our sleep, thus reducing the frequency of our dreams. A diet rich in fiber, fruits, vegetables, and a little bit of vegetable oil can help us have a good night’s sleep.
