8. Do Your Research
To truly succeed in fishing, it pays to do your research. Those who’ve been doing this for a while and know the craft well will tell you that catching a fish requires research, commitment, skill, preparation, and more.
Watch, listen to, and read as much fishing-related material as possible. However, if you’re short on time, at least consider elements such as the ideal spot to land a catch and the best time of day to go fishing in your designated area.
When at your destination, head to those areas where other fishermen are trying their luck. Another great idea would be to ask around for some recommendations, as it’s hard to beat local advice.
