Close-mindedness isn’t a characteristic most people want to have. On the one hand, it can show that someone doesn’t change their mind too easily and is confident in their beliefs. That’s definitely an admirable treat.

Some people have an open mind and enjoy listening and learning new things. Others tend to be a little bit closed-minded and traditionalist in their approach. They have set values and beliefs, and trying to convince them otherwise is already a lost cause.
Such people don’t embrace change and like to do things a certain way. They are traditionalists at heart, and they’d rather choose their trusted ways to do things than try modern and new ways.
