Even if it doesn’t seem like it, if you have no other health issues, not being able to sleep well all of a sudden is a sign of deteriorating mental health. And because we are not the best at telling whether or not we are feeling anxious all the time, it can be really hard to tell when stress is having such a big impact on our lives.
In the end, such changes in your eating or sleeping routines aren’t normal, and they are a sign of stress. The longer you let them go on, thinking they will resolve themselves at some point, the worse it can get. It is better to seek out some help and talk to someone in therapy than to let everything fester.
