Since this topic is so interesting and has fascinated humankind for a very long time, there are so many theories regarding dreams and dreaming. So, the answer to the question “Why can’t we all remember our dreams if we’re all dreaming?” can vary based on the theory you choose to follow.
In this article, we are going to discuss only a few of these theories. The first one tells us that dreaming is a process that helps the brain sort information. While we sleep, it goes through all of the information it has stored and starts to eliminate the unnecessary stuff. The important short-term memories are transcribed into long-term memories, and the things that we don’t need are forgotten.
